SHAH ALAM - Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak
claims opposition try to spoil his close relationship with the Deputy, Datuk
Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi through rumour.
Najib in a statement emphasized, the opposition has
taken the wrong move if they are using the approach because he stated that Umno
members are famous with their loyalty.
"Perhaps opposition mistakenly believe the
character of Deputy Prime Minister is the same as several former Umno party
leaders who are driven by personal interest, not party interest or national.
"They try various methods in their jurisdiction to
break us. But they do not know Umno and his member loyalty - those who standing
within easy or difficult with party and party leadership chosen democratically,"
he said via one statement.
Najib said that in response to the comment on the spread
of the letter of shadow cabinet that Zahid has reputedly distributed.
The shadow cabinet that has started viral for the past
few days showed Zahid's name as the Prime Minister followed by Deputy Prime
Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin, Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz as Home
Minister.
The list also shows some of the other names. While the names
that are not listed includes Najib, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein, Major
General (B) Seri Jamil Khir Baharom's Grandfather, Datuk Seri Dr. Shahidan
Kassim. Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor and some more names.
Commenting further, Najib said, the opposition is now
so desperate and in mayhem until they are forced to be allying with the people
who have jailed their own leader.
"I urge all Umno party members to always be on the
lookout for dirty tactic used by adversary party. They envy the strong solidarity
in Umno and Barisan Nasional," he added.
